Elemental forces meet at the anniversary MVM ZENERGIA concert at the Papp László Budapest Sports Arena
An extraordinary musical and visual experience awaits art lovers at the 10th anniversary charity gala concert of MVM ZENERGIA on 29 August 2025. This year’s event, taking place at a brand-new venue, will feature headliners Magdi Rúzsa, János Balázs, Petra Gubik, and the Concerto Budapest symphony orchestra conducted by András Keller, who will embody the four classical elements on stage and create a stunning harmony of classical and popular music together with a host of exceptional fellow musicians.
This year marks the 10th edition of the one-of-a-kind MVM ZENERGIA concert, where music, visual spectacle and charity come together. The grand venue for the jubilee event is the Papp László Budapest Sportaréna, hosting the performance on Friday, 29 August 2025 from 6:30 p.m., featuring classical and popular musical pieces inspired by the theme of the four elements – all presented in unique, specially arranged versions.
To mark the anniversary, star performers from previous years will once again take the stage, including Magdi Rúzsa, János Balázs, Petra Gubik and the Concerto Budapest symphony orchestra under the baton of András Keller. They will be joined by young Junior Prima Award-winning talents, the Mixed Choir of the Zoltán Kodály Hungarian Choir School and the Sárközy Collective. A special feature of the concert will be the way these diverse musical worlds are performed with symphonic orchestral arrangements, blending classical and popular genres into one unified stage experience. The four classical elements – fire, earth, air and water – will play a central role not only in the musical programme but also in the visual design.
Artistic director of MVM ZENERGIA is once again Liszt and Kossuth Prize-winning pianist and distinguished artist János Balázs, member of the Hungarian Academy of Arts and recipient of both the Prima and Junior Prima Awards. The evening will be hosted by music historian Ádám Bősze. The unique visual concept accompanying the musical programme was designed by Ambrus Törőcsik, visual director of MVM ZENERGIA. Arrangers: Rezső Ott and Apor Szüts.
As every year, MVM will donate 100% of the ticket proceeds to a charitable cause. Until 29 August, visitors can vote online at mvmzenergia.hu to decide which foundation will receive the donation this year. The chosen organisation with the highest number of votes will be announced at the MVM ZENERGIA concert at the Papp László Budapest Sportaréna.
A limited number of supporter tickets are available in advance for the gala concert.
