Food collecting at Tesco hypermarkets

On the occasion of World Food Day, national Food collecting will be held on 16th and 17th October in Tesco hypermarkets. In the course of the action,anyone can put food products in the shopping cart of the volunteers.

The food offered by the buyers will be forwarded to the institutions, organizations such as orphanages, family services, mother shelters, foundation nurseries by the Hungarian Food Bank Association. Tesco also involved in the Donation Convoy action on World Food Day with a truck loaded with goods. The trucks involved in the action will start from the Budaörs Flower Market, than stop at Vajdahunyad castle on the FAO event, and then unload the donations at the storehouse of the Hungarian Food Bank Association – reports Világgazdaság Online.
