The government has announced a food price stop
Price regulation will be applied from February 1 for six products, vg.hu wrote.
As prices rise across Europe due to rising energy prices, the Hungarian government is introducing a food price stop, Prime Minister Orbán Viktor said.
Price regulation will apply to six products:
granulated sugar
wheat flour
sunflower cooking oil
pork tigh
chicken breast
2.8 percent cow’s milk
Orbán Viktor reminded that the government had previously introduced a fuel price stop as well as an interest rate stop for mortgage loans. (vg.hu)
