Hungary’s food retail is still in the forefront of Europe
Hungary continues to belong to Europe's leading food retail growth rankings. Hungary’s retail revenues increased by 5.5 percent during the fourth quarter, compared to the same period of the previous year.
It is the second highest indicator in Europe after Turkey. In terms of volume, the 2.4 percent growth is the third largest after Ireland and Greece – the Nielsen consumer information and knowledge services company reveals in connection with the fourth quarter performance of the European retail.
