Food processors: the public health product tax did not reduce the salt and sugar consumption
According to the Association of National Food Processors (ÉFOSZ) the public health product tax did not reduce the salt and sugar consumption Hungarians, whereas the loss of the affected sectors have increased significantly.
The Thursday communication of ÉFOSZ calls attention to this in relation. According to the joint impact assessment of the National Food and Nutrition Institute (OÉTI) and the National Institute for Health Development (OEFI) the public health product tax did not reduce the salt and sugar consumption Hungarians.
