Electronic holiday voucher cards will be introduced in Romania
Klaus Iohannis Romanian head of state announced the law amending the holiday voucher system on Monday.
The new system – while maintaining the previous paper-based system – allows the employers to provide fringe benefits to their employees on electronic holiday voucher cards.
The holiday vouchers will not be taxed, and shall be used exclusively for the purchase of tourism services in Romania. (Baranyi László, MTI)
