Mondelēz to sell its chewing gum business
Mondelēz International Inc plans to sell its chewing gum business, including brands Trident and Dentyne, and the Halls cough drop brand. The company intends to focus on chocolates and snacks in the future. The Cadbury maker will only keep its gum brands in emerging markets. With reshaping the product line, Mondelēz aims to generate 90% of revenue from chocolates and biscuits.
