Starbucks drops plant-based milk surcharge in North America
Starbucks phases out charging extra for plant-based milk at its company-owned stores in the US and Canada from 7 November. As a result of this step, drinks made with oat, almond, soy and coconut milk won’t cost more than those made with conventional milk. The decision comes in response to long-standing demand from the vegan and dairy-free communities. Currently nearly half of Starbucks customers choose plant-based milk with their coffee.//
