Edible crickets were found in Kenya
Tanga Mbi, researcher of the International Biophysical and Ecological Center (ICIPE), headquartered in Nairobi, spoke about new edible cricket species at the UN Biodiversity Conference in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt – origo wrote.

“There is currently no scientific literature about this newly identified species, because it has been classified until recently to another species, Acheta domesticus” – said Mbi, adding that together with his colleagues he gave Scapsipedus icipe scientific name to the species (MTI, Icipe, origo)
