Edible coffee cups are served aboard an airline
Air New Zealand has begun to distribute coffee cups on its flights which can then be consumed with ease – index wrote after CNN.
The cups of Twiice look like sponge cake cookies, are plant-based, vanilla-flavored and can withstand hot coffee.
Air New Zealand has previously announced that it will only use cups made of degradable material in its on-board and airport lounges. Since July, salad dressing and soy sauce have been served in washable bowls and non-reusable bags. (index)
