In cooperation for the strenghtening of the Hungarian wine-growing sector
Two significant public bodies in Hungary are making their relationship closer: the National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) and the National Council of Mountain Villages (HNT) have signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The co-operation agreement was signed by the president of the two organizations – by Győrffy Balázs (NAK) and by Légli Ottó (HNT). The document was signed in the wine cellar of the Garamvári Vineyard Estate.
Two major public bodies will coordinate their activities in the future, contributing to the development of the local wine-growing sector. NAK is a public body of agricultural entrepreneurs with nearly 400 thousand members, including a large number of farmers and producers dealing with vineyards, wineries and related activities. The HNT, with 60,000 members, brings together wine and wine producers. The vine-wine sector is one of the emblematic branches of Hungarian agriculture, providing the livelihood of nearly 80 thousand families.
