A minor structural reorganization has begun in peppers: the area of ​​TV peppers is decreasing in favor of colorful types. The yield increased slightly, but prices fell. The price of TV peppers decreased by 7%, capia by 1%, and California peppers suffered a 37% price drop – due to the European oversupply. In contrast, sharp hot peppers increased in price by 12-15% due to the strong demand. The price of pritamin decreased by 16%. In the case of TV peppers, strong import pressure made the market position difficult. Tomatoes produced a good crop under favorable climatic conditions, which resulted in a decrease in prices. The price of cluster tomatoes fell by about 10%, that of specialties decreased by 9–12%, while cherry tomatoes suffered a smaller price decrease. Profits thus remained more moderate. In the case of snake cucumbers, foil surfaces decreased, and greenhouse production expanded slightly. The crop increased by 3–5%, exceeding 46 thousand tons, which strengthened export capacity. At the same time, pests and virus infections pose an increasing risk. We can therefore say that in 2025, more favorable temperature conditions improved yields, but profitability remained subdued due to lower prices and increasing plant health risks. Modernization of growing equipment is essential to maintain competitiveness.
