Uniform standards needed

The position of vice chairman has been established in the Global Food Safety workgroup of CIES – The Food Business organisation in order to promote further global harmonisation of food safety standards. Yves Rey, from the Danone group and Cindy Jiang, from McDonalds have been appointed to the new position. The next food safety conference of CIES will be held between 4-6. February in Barcelona, where practical experience regarding food safety and best practices will be discussed.
