More and more people are choosing the restaurant Christmas menu
As the holiday season approaches, many people decide to entrust the preparation of this year’s Christmas menu to restaurants, thus avoiding long hours spent in the kitchen. Ordering from a restaurant is not only a convenient solution, but it also gives the opportunity to put special dishes on the table without the host having to cook for hours. Although this option requires some financial outlay, prices in some restaurants have remained surprisingly stable compared to last year’s prices – the article in Pénzcentrum points out.
Prices and trends
The prices of Christmas dishes vary greatly between restaurants. While there was no price increase in some places, guests may have experienced a 5-15% increase in others. However, restaurants are trying to maintain their competitiveness and, despite the economic difficulties, are waiting for orders with attractive offers.
For example, at the Texture restaurant, the price of fish soup and Transylvanian stuffed cabbage remained unchanged, but the price of offal has increased slightly. Orders are accepted until December 23, and dishes can be picked up on December 24.
In contrast, the Kéhli restaurant experienced a 5-10% price increase, but their offer remains attractive: for example, fish soup, stuffed cabbage and roasted goose leg remain popular choices.
Special offer and luxury dishes
Restaurants tempt guests not only with traditional dishes such as fish soup and stuffed cabbage, but also with special dishes. For example, at the Náncsi néni restaurant, you can order pheasant broth with truffled pork loin and salmon tartare with citrus caper sauce. The Jardinette restaurant is also popular this year with its special dishes such as Christmas couscous or poached duck liver in fat.
Deadlines and planning
The deadline for ordering Christmas menus is fast approaching. Most restaurants accept orders until mid-December or the end of the month, so it is worth deciding in time if someone wants to avoid the Christmas rush. You can find precise information about available menus and pick-up times on the restaurant websites.
A balance between tradition and convenience
Although ordering from a restaurant is not a cheap pastime, more and more families see it as an opportunity to make the holidays easier. Whether we prefer traditional dishes or modern flavors, the restaurant offering guarantees that the holiday table will be special and mouth-watering, and the hosts will be able to spend more time with their loved ones.
