More and more people are cooking pálinka at home
Hundreds of people bought the equipment needed for making home-made pálinka last year, so nearly 24,000 cauldrons have been registered by local authorities in recent years – Magyar Idők wrote.
There were, of course, a number of people who prepared the fruit fry themselves, but entrusted a specialist with the cooking: the country’s wineries produced more than eight million liters of fifty degree pálinka distillate last year. Various pálinka cooking data suggest that domestic interest has not delined towards pálinka. (magyaridok,hu, Jakubász Tamás)
