Tesco offers a growing number of personalised discounts
Tesco launched its new Clubcard service in September: cash register coupons are printed out after the receipt and they offer personalised discounts to Clubcard holders. For instance discounts can be offered on the products most frequently purchased by the customer or on the total sum of the next purchase. The new coupons debuted in October and according to András Szőcs, Tesco’s customer experience manager an endless number of opportunities lie in the new system. Good news for Tesco Mobile subscribers is that on 1 October a loyalty programme called FREEminute started: for each HUF 1,000 spent using the Clubcard subscribers get 1 FREEminute of speaking time.
