Point collecting cards become more popular
The declining consumption due to the crisis, started an expansion on the market, of point collecting and loyalty cards. A number of smaller companies have also ventured into the point collecting and loyalty card business.
On the Hungarian market on average of 20-30 million plastic cards are in action per year, but they have a high fluctuation rate. The card issuing is about 100-120 thousand pieces per year, With the entry of Spar and Interspar and with the September admission of other new partners (Burger King, Patikapont) at least, 150 thousand new card is projected per year – reports napi.hu.
