Increasing trust in debit cards
Last year 85 percent of Hungarians using the internet for buying products or services paid with their debit card when purchasing in a ‘physical’ store and 48 percent of them also paid with their bank card when buying online – revealed a study done by GKI in January 2015. When purchasing in physical stores, 61 percent of the online shopper population regularly pay with their debit card; another 24 percent also do so occasionally.
