One million dollars to anyone who serves the artificial grilled chicken first
Special dishes will be served June this year at an unusual food competition in Washington, where the chefs this time will be physiologists and biologists, while the grand prize will be nothing less than one million USD. The rules are simple: a grilled chicken should be served to the judges, which in appearance, taste and consistency is similar to the original, but the “raw material” never lived and moved.
Five years ago, the PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), the world’s largest animal rights organization has excited the scientific society of the world with a special “competition”, offering one million dollars to researchers, who can demonstrate their ability to produce artificial chicken meat until 30 June 2012, which is similar to the real one in all aspects, except the origin.
