The European Trade Day was launched eighteen years ago by the National Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers (VOSZ) with the intention of creating a tradition.
At the ceremony, János Eppel, the president of VOSZ, was the first to greet the gathering, who was also awarded the Gábor Klauzál Award (2017) due to his commercial and strategic role. In his speech, he emphasized how trade, the GDP produced by it, and the proper service of people in general have become prominent in the recent period. So perhaps it is even more timely to stop for a moment and review both commercial attitudes and consumer habits and their continuous changes. In addition, he touched on the role of VOSZ as an interest representative, since there are many of its members who are active in the field of commerce. He also mentioned that the organization is undergoing a transformation and is constantly expanding as a result of recent reviews.
In his speech, he turned back to the long-term effects of the coronavirus and the recent inflation and energy crises, which can also be felt in the field of trade; factors causing problems in supply chains, production and supply. As president, he promised that the protection of the interests of the commercial sector will continue to be one of VOSZ’s primary missions.
