The National Trade Association agrees with the President
The Secretary OKSZ agrees with letter of the President, where Sólyom László justifies the reasons why he sent back the law prohibiting the unfair distribution behavior of agricultural and food products to the Parliament.
The President agrees with the objectives of the 80 percent rate law, however, in final form is not convenient in his opinion. Although law wants to protect Hungarian food suppliers, it could have the effect that traders will obtain the food stocks from foreign sources instaed of domestic sources – wrote Sólyom László
According to Vámos György, Secretary General of the National Commercial Association (OKSZ), the ”multis” will benefit from the law not the farmers. The Secretary-General of OKSZ alleges that the arrangement between the farmers' organizations and the purchasing organizations is missing – reports Világgazdaság Online.
