University students can dine with the CEO of Auchan
Students from three countries also submitted entries to the Auchan Case Challenge business case-solving competition, allowing the jury to select excellent materials from a total of 645 students at 22 universities. The case study competition was aimed at young people with an active higher education student status who were open and bold enough to come up with new solutions to a situation that arises in a real work environment.
On October 16, it became clear who the most innovative students in the country were, as the Auchan and Janus Pannonius College of Economics’ Auchan Case Challange business case-solving competition was announced. Of the many excellent case studies, ten eventually made it to the finals, with five teams each competing for HR training and development and online commerce. The teams of four had 15 minutes to convince the jury members of the effectiveness of their proposal. By the way, the finalists could all leave as winners, as the 10 teams received a total of 3 million trust points, which they are free to redeem in Auchan stores. In online commerce, the teams of students from Babes-Bolyai University, while HR trainings and developments at Corvinus University of Budapest and Central European University proved to be the best, so they will also take part in a five-pronged career coaching course, and Dominique Ducoux, Auchan Hungary’s CEO will host a business dinner
