SPAR Netherlands university retailer to open stores on university campuses in Arnhem and Nijmegen
In collaboration with Compass Group Netherlands, SPAR Netherlands’ university retailer will open two stores on the campuses of the HAN University of Applied Sciences in Arnhem and Nijmegen during the second quarter of 2025.
The new store in Arnhem will be located in the former Douwe Egberts Café on campus. In Nijmegen, the SPAR store will open in the former student pub on the Kapittelweg. Both locations will be transformed into modern SPAR stores, specially designed to function as the ideal place for students – whether they want to take a break while enjoying something tasty, study or get together with other students.
