The Hungarian and Croatian wine regions would be merged
The Croatian side focuses on white wines, including Riesling (grasevina), while the Villány wine region focuses on red wines, especially on Villányi Franc. The dividing line is practically really “just” the physical border between the two countries. HelloVidék asked the Tenkes Borvidékfejlesztő Nonprofit Kft., which participates on behalf of the Villány-Siklós Wine Route Association, as the project partner about the details of a kind of mirror project.
