Pasta equally popular
According to a survey of eating habits conducted by GfK Hungária, nine out of ten people like pasta and consume it once every three days on average. Pasta enjoys equal popularity among all major groups. Pasta is also the second most popular garnish after potato. Pasta enjoys even higher than average popularity in the 20-29 and over 60 age groups. There is a direct correlation between the popularity of pasta and the size of the household, exceeding 91 percent in households of more than five. It is fascinating that pasta is equally popular among people who want to follow a healthy diet, those who follow a normal diet and those who eat whatever they like. The popularity of pasta is also nearly the same among people who want to lose weight and those who want to gain weight.
