Inflation is below one percent
In October, the annual inflation rate was 0.9 percent, the consumer prices fell by an average of 0.3 percent, compared with the previous month – the Central Statistics Office announced on Tuesday.
Lower annual rate of inflation was measured the last time in February 1974. The indicator was 0.6 percent that time.
Mináry Borbála, expert of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) told the price of fuels, during one month decreased by 4.7 percent. This reduced the consumer price index by 0.4 percentage points in itself. (MTI)
