After a difficult semester, the population expects the income situation to turn better from autumn
For the fifth week in a row, NMS Hungary has been continuously measuring the sentiment of the population of the panel member countries, including Hungary, about the pandemic situation and the assessment of the pandemic through the European National Panel.
Although the results of individual countries vary only slightly from week to week, trends are beginning to emerge. The most striking change in Hungary is in the coronavirus personal exposure index, which rose from 2.0 percent on 18 March to 10 percent on 23 April. This means that 10 percent of the population knows a person in their environment who is infected or even affected by the disease in some way.
