Pilóta biscuits will remain in short supply for quite some time
The Pilóta biscuit, or as the company calls it, the Pilóta sandwich product, has been in short supply for roughly three months. Mondelez Hungary Ltd. is doing everything to get it back on store shelves as soon as possible, but for now it is waiting for you.
Acting Managing Director Tamás Nagy told Telex.hu that
Regarding Pilota sandwich products produced and distributed by Mondelez Hungária Kft., there is always a shortage of stock in the vast majority of our retail and reseller channels. The permanent lack of stock is caused by the difficulties affecting our production capacities, as well as the shortage of raw materials and packaging materials, which also affects the confectionery industry.
At the same time, the company indicated that the stock shortage only affects the Pilot sandwich biscuits, not the other products of the Pilota product line, as well as that Mondelez Hungária is doing everything possible to ensure that the popular biscuit product is available to consumers as soon as possible, in quantities corresponding to demand.
