In a month, you can already apply for planting horticultural plantations
The Ministry of Agriculture announced a call for funds of HUF 25.2 billion entitled “Horticulture – support for planting plantations and medicinal plants”, which helps to create plantations with high productivity and high yield security. The ministry now draws attention to the fact that in one month, between September 10 and September 23, the opportunity to submit support applications will open.
Based on the call, applications can be made for the planting of new fruit, medicinal, aroma and herb, wine grape and hop plantations, for the modernization of existing fruit plantations, and for the construction of the irrigation system for the plantations. In addition, support can be requested for the construction of ice protection nets for plantations and the purchase of frost protection systems, which enable the reduction and prevention of harmful climatic effects. In addition, the tender also finances the purchase of certain tools and machines that help the harvest. According to the announcement, support can be requested in the form of a unit cost for the given area in relation to planting plantations. This means that the beneficiaries do not have to account for the part of the amount won for planting plantations on an invoice basis. The planting of more than 6,000 hectares of plantations received support in the framework of the previous calls for tenders issued in the framework of the Rural Development Program.
