Authorities seize 3.4 tons of food from a hairdressing factory in Hajmászér
The National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) has uncovered serious irregularities in a food production plant in Hajmáskéri: experts have withdrawn 3.4 tons of illegal, partly untraceable and partly expired items from circulation. Their placing on the market was immediately prohibited, and the items were placed under lock and key, so that these products could not reach consumers.
During the Hajmáskéri inspection, irregularities were found in fresh and frozen meat, offal, rind, bacon and fat, and sausages for frying. All affected products were immediately withdrawn from circulation at the inspection site. The procedure and the determination of the fine are in progress. The data of the affected company are available on the list of violations.
The video showing the errors and deficiencies discovered during the inspection serves as a visual presentation of what is described in the article and does not contain additional information.
Nébih continues its targeted inspections to ensure that only safe food from controlled sources reaches Hungarian consumers’ tables.
