The GKI sentiment index decreased significantly
The seasonally adjusted value of the GKI sentiment index declined in February from the high levels of January in an amount has not seen for a year.
Expectations deteriorated in all sectors and among the consumers as well, but still reflect a rather optimistic mood – according to the survey of the GKI Economic Research Company which was prepared with the support of the European Union.
The sentiment index worsened in January to minus 1.8 points from 1.0 points, while the business confidence index from 7.2 points to 4.7 points and the consumer confidence index fell from minus 16.6 points to minus 20.2 points in February. (MTI)
