So far, 6.4 million HUF fines were imposed during the winter seasonal inspections in 62 cases, and more than 15 tons of food products were withdrawn from circulation – Zsigó Róbert, Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture said at a press conference in Budapest on Monday.
Zsigó Róbert said that 2125 inspections were held nationwide in, the most commonly found irregularities concerning traceability, in 2.8 percent of the controls.
The winter seasonal food chain inspection takes place between 1 and 31 December this year all over the country. (MTI)
