Consumer protection authorities focus on e-commerce
Ákos Kara, secretary of state responsible for consumer protection and infocommunication at the Ministry for National Development, told that this year the authorities are focusing on the dynamically growing online retail segment. Inspections will concentrate on how e-commerce businesses inform consumers, for instance about the conditions for changing their mind having made a purchase.
