Poundland starts e-commerce pilot
Pepco-owned Poundland has commenced a new transformation programme that features changes to stores, pricing and product selection – including an e-commerce pilot. Poundland is testing an online delivery service from next year, using one of its 3 stores in Cannock, which will close and begin its conversion into an online fulfilment centre. Poundland will also speed up the introduction of chilled and frozen food to 60 stores.
