Dreher: demand increased towards premium beers
There is an increasing demand for premium and super premium beers in Hungary. The turnover of the category increased by 23 percent in 2017, and by 27 percent in the first half of 2018 – Dreher Breweries announced.
The company, which has been operating as part of the Japanese Asahi Group since March last year, focuses on the creation of a premium portfolio with its domestic and international premium brands. As one of these steps, Peroni Nastro Azzuro, one of Italy’s most popular beer brands, and one of the most popular Italian beer in the world – marketed in more than 70 countries – has been introduced to the Hungarian market.
