In February, the consumer prices were on average 0.3 percent higher than a year before, and declined by 0.1 percent, compared to January – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Tuesday.
The price of alcoholic beverages, tobacco products increased with the highest degree, while fuel prices fell sharply last month.
Mináry Borbála, Head of department at the Central Statistical Office emphasized that the February consumer price index was mainly determined by the 3.7 percent decline in the price of fuels.
