Land became more expensive last year, according to a survey by Takarék Mortgage Bank
Farmland prices also rose in the first three quarters of last year, but the rate of price increase slowed down slightly, the Takarék Mortgage Bank told MTI on Wednesday.

Farmland prices fell slightly in real terms
Farmland prices rose by an average of 6.58 percent nationwide in the first 9 months of 2021, compared to 6.61 percent in the same period last year. The rise in real prices has slowed, from 3.2 percent year-on-year to 1.4 percent. Arable land became more expensive at a slower-than-average rate of 5 percent, with a national average of 1.78 million HUF per hectare. (MTI)
