Chicken, will be more expensive in April
A 8-10 percent increase in chicken meat prices are expected in April and May, in the domestic stores, due to the Western European demand increase, towards Hungarian goods.
The price growth in the Western European markets will increase the prices of the domestic poultry industry, including in the domestic retail 1590 HUF chicken prices can be expected, instead of the current average price of 1190 HUF. Due to this price increase, the 2-3 percent price increase of the livebreed poultry is also expected – reports szabadfold.hu.
