Tobacco – restaurateurs worry about losses in income
The transferring of tobacco distribution into a state monopoly would be a violation against fundamental liberties – told the Hungarian Caterers Industry Board (MVI) on Monday.
The restaurant advocacy refers in its communication to the fact, that Fidesz representatives suggested that tobacco products should not be sold only in convenience stores, newspaper owners, but would be withdrawn from all the pubs and all from the catering industry shelves.
Háber Tamás, the honorary chairman of the board at MVI points out, that the acceptance of the motion would cause significant disruption in the hospitality industry, both in legal and economic aspects – reports MTI.
