Romania is importing more and more food

Romania is increasingly in need of food imports
According to the summary surveyed by Maszol.ro on Wednesday, Romania only produces quantities that meet domestic needs from grain, cabbage and sheepmeat and goatmeat, while other foodstuffs increasingly cover domestic demand from imports. Romania’s dependence on imports of sugar and pork has increased the most in the last five years. (agrarszektor.hu)
