Melon Day in Ópusztaszer
A Melon Day to be held on Saturday in the Ópusztaszer National Historical Memorial Park, where the guests can taste the fruits.
Kodácz Csengele, marketing manager of the institution told MTI that on Saturday, half ton of Hungarian melons will arrive to the memorial park from the Southern Great Plain.
In Hungary, melons have been cultivated for centuries, as the geographical and climatic conditions of our country favor the development of this plant. (MTI)
