Water melon cheap and early

Trends in the world market of meat and poultry are monitored by Agricultural Business Research Institute (AKI). According to their latest report, water melon appeared in the domestic supply on the 26th week of the year, at a 10 per cent lower price than in the 2005-2007 period. Many fruits and vegetables of Hungarian origin appeared on the .Vienna wholesale market on the 26th week. Diverse trends prevailed in the world market of cattle in the first part of 2008. The number slaughtered in Hungary did not change compared to the same period in 2007. However, exports of both livestock and beef rose substantially, while import dropped. The balance of foreign trade remained positive and continued to improve, compared to the first quarter of the preceding year.
