Wheat prices are changing dynamically on the market
According to Tallage’s October information, the spot market price of 12.5 percent protein milling wheat in Germany (FOB Hamburg) decreased by $13 to $271/ton between October 7 and November 7. The immediate export price (FOB) of milling wheat arriving in Rouen fell by $19 to $241, the December 2024-January 2025 price fell by $20 to $242-250, and the March 2025 price fell by $21 to $252/ton.

Milling wheat with 11.5 percent protein for immediate delivery in Russia was available for $220 and 12.5 percent protein for $230/ton (-$3, FOB) on November 7. In Romania, the spot market price of milling wheat per ton decreased by $10 to $238/ton during the indicated period. In the USA, the immediate export price (FOB Gulf) of soft red winter wheat (SRW) decreased by $13 to $255, and that of hard red winter wheat (HRW) with 11 percent protein content decreased by $16 to $262/ton. In Argentina, the immediate export price of the crop was $16 lower ($230/ton) at the beginning of November. Australian milling wheat was traded for $280/ton (-$3, FOB) at the same time (Tallage).
According to AKI PÁIR data, in Hungary, table wheat was traded at an average producer price of HUF 84.9 thousand/ton excluding VAT and transport costs in the second week of November
This price level exceeded the one year earlier by 25 percent. Feed wheat traded for 76.2 thousand forints/ton (+24 percent) at the same time. On the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME/CBOT), the December wheat quotation fluctuated in the range of 195–208 dollars/ton between November 11 and 22. At the same time, on the Paris Mercantile Exchange (Euronext/MATIF), the December stock exchange settlement price of the crop was between 210–220 euros/ton.
