Award winning stores and POP projects
POPAI Hungary’s parent organisation, Shop! joined forces with Retail Design Institute to present last year’s winning concepts in an online webinar. Shop!’s global development director, Leo van de Polder organised the event, for which 160 participants registered from 18 countries.
First Cynthia Hirsch, president of Retail Design Institute presented creative solutions, such as the visual merchandising innovation award winning Psycho Bunny store in Miami. This was the first physical store of the fashion brand. Store of the year, architectural, customer experience and digital integration innovation award winner Cadillac House in Shanghai was also introduced.

Ryan Brevda, member of the board of directors of Shop! talked about the winners of US in-store competition OMA Awards in 2020. He spoke in detail about the travel trunk in-store display that backed the launch of Davidoff Avo cigars in the specialty retailer category.

Mr de Polder presented his selection of some of the Shop! Global Awards winner POP solutions. His main topic was the digital transformation of an Oak Farms store. Instore screen LLC’s managing director Henrik Andersson revealed that the biggest challenge was sourcing all of the many different types of screens.
