The gluten-free breads and pastries of the year were awarded
In connection with the Magyarok Kenyere program, the gluten-free bread and pastry competition was organized for the second time this year by the Association of Hungarian Farmers’ Cooperatives and Farmers’ Cooperatives, the National Chamber of Agriculture, the Hungarian Celiac Association and AMUREX GM Hungary Kft. The aim of the initiative remains the same: to draw attention to the special diet follow the needs of people living with gluten sensitivity and promote innovation in gluten-free products.
In the past year, the competition of gluten-free breads and pastries was organized in a tradition-creating manner – in connection with the Bread of Hungarians program – by the Association of Hungarian Farmers’ Unions and Farmers’ Cooperatives, the National Chamber of Agrárgazdasági Kamara, the Hungarian Celiac Association and the AMUREX GM Hungary Kft.
Encouraged by the success of the initiative last year, the organizers also announced a new category this year, so that in addition to breads and pastries, manufacturers of gluten-free products could also enter in the category of filled baked goods. This year’s competition Dr. It started under the patronage of the Minister of Agriculture, István Nagy, and the president of the jury was Dr. Badakné. Katalin Kerti, associate professor, was the department head of the Hungarian University of Agricultural and Life Sciences.
