At the meeting, in which Hungary also participated as an observer member, Kubanicsbek Ömuralievet, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, informed the parties about the latest activities of the Organization of Turkic States. The parties referred to agriculture as one of the key areas of economic development and confirmed that they are still ready to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of agriculture. The member countries agreed that we are living in a new, challenging era where digital solutions and innovative technologies are increasingly coming to the fore and replacing traditional agriculture.
These goals must be achieved in the region
The ministers emphasized that the goals of the future activities of the region include, among others, the promotion of institutional development, science and technology development, the improvement of agricultural productivity through agricultural digitization, the improvement of access to inclusive financial services, loans or credits, and the implementation of specific projects in the field of agriculture. The day before the ministerial meeting, the 3rd meeting of the TÁSZ agricultural cooperation working group took place with the participation of Hungarian experts, within the framework of which the participants discussed the action plan necessary to achieve the above goals.
