Lidl Hungary offers students an attractive (and not only) seasonal job opportunity
This year, Lidl Hungary also offers a wide range of seasonal work opportunities for students, especially during the summer. The retail chain employs students in its seasonal stores and flagship stores located in the Balaton region and Lake Velence, who also have the opportunity to work for the company during the year.
The students mainly work in blue-collar jobs, in logistics centers and in the central office building in Budapest. During the summer period, the number of students taking on seasonal work increases significantly, especially in their seasonal shops, which are located in touristic locations.
In accordance with current legislation, Lidl employs students, from the age of 15, with parental consent, for a maximum of 8 hours per day, with prescribed rest periods and two rest days per week. Students can join the Lidl staff for seasonal work between April 1 and August 31, so there are only a few days left for this season.
In addition to preferential wages, students receive the same benefits as permanent employees. If you work 40 hours a week, you can expect a gross monthly salary of HUF 588,000, supplemented by fringe benefits. These include provision of accommodation, support to get to work and participation in the Lidl card and the company’s health scheme, which includes an extra day off for free screenings.
With this opportunity, Lidl Hungary not only offers attractive work for students, but also contributes to young people gaining valuable experience in the world of work, while also being able to work under advantageous conditions from a financial point of view.
