Diageo: profits decreased by one-fifth
The world's largest bewerage manufacturer, the British Diageo Plc’s after tax profit was 953 million pounds in the first half its business year ended in December, 20 percent less than the 1.194 billion pounds of a year earlier.
The net revenue was 5.757 billion pounds, 8 percent higher than a year ago, while sales volume rose by 6 percent to 84.1 million hectoliters, shows the company’s interim report released on Thursday. The company's leaders are cautious over this year's “customer care and economic trend” – reports tozsdeforum.hu.
