Deloitte: the non-performing loan market is recovering in Central Europe
Over the past year, the sales of portfolios of the badly performing loan increased significantly in nine Central European countries examined by Deloitte – the audit firm informed MTI.
The poor quality loans bind large amounts of capital in the banks 'balance sheets, and significantly dampen the banks' ability to lend, as well as hampering the natural business activities of the financial institutions and, ultimately slowing down economic growth – Deloitte informs. (MTI)
