Deloitte: women’s sports is a growing business in

The gap between revenues from men’s and women’s sports is narrowing, and while the latter is still far behind in this area, there is growing potential for sponsors and investors in women’s sports, Deloitte said in its latest forecast.

The firm, which specializes in auditing, tax and other consulting, and legal services, forecasts that revenues from women’s sports will not reach 1 billion USD this year, even though total revenues from sports totaled 480 billion USD in 2018, according to experts. In the coming years, a significant increase in the number of spectators and thus in revenue will be expected in women’s sports. (MTI)
